Comparison Institutions

Comparison institutions in higher education are used for benchmarking performance, strategic planning, and context-setting. Whether they are a formal set of peer institutions or driven by participation in consortia, comparison groups help institutions identify competitive strengths, evaluate operational efficiency, and set data-informed goals.

CC Peer Institutions

»Æ¹ÏÊÓƵuses a core peer group of 15 liberal arts colleges, found to be most similar to CC across a set of over 20 indicators. These are the institutions the College most commonly uses for comparison.

Other Comparison Institutions

CC is also a member of several higher education consortia. While not all consortia members are considered to be peers for comparative purposes, the major groups are, in some instances, used for comparison purposes.
